Helios Technology

Established in 1981, Helios Technology is currently the oldest manufacturer of solar cells, modules and photovoltaic systems in Europe. Thanks to the several installations and worldwide experiences made in more than 20 years, Helios Technology has steadily improved the manufacturing technologies demonstrating the high performances of its products and builting a good reputation in the photovoltaic sector.

Technology

At the typical battery operating voltage (12,5V) the I-Max^® technology, developed by Helios Technology for its range of high-efficiency modules range, allows a remarkable increase of the current output (10-17%). 

Thanks to the continuous improvement of the production technology, Helios Technology has realized a wide range of products such as photovoltaic modules from 20 to 150Wp, charge controllers and low-consumption fluorescent lamps.

Quality

Helios Technology's modules have been designed to operate under the toughest environmental conditions. Thanks to strict quality tests made during the manufacturing process, we can guarantee our photovoltaic modules for 25 years, even if their average lifetime is more than 30 years.

Our modules are approved by the European Community accordingly to CEI/IEC61215 rules. Such homologation has been obtained after strict   tests executed at JRC (Joint Research Center) ESTI (European Solar Test Installation) Laboratories of ISPRA. Moreover, Helios Technology modules were placed second in the ranking of the prestigious German magazine Stiftung Warentest, compared with other twenty main manufacturers.

Applications

Thanks to the several installations and worldwide experiences, Helios Technology has demonstrated the high performances of its products and built a good reputation in all photovoltaic applications, such as grid-connected systems on photovoltaic roofs, solar pumping systems, stand-alone systems, rural electrification, telecommunications, free time and accessories for camper and boating.
